The Samuel Beckett Collection

Visual identity for The Samuel Beckett Collection, a theatre festival celebrating the work of late novelist and playwright, Samuel Beckett. The festival aims to commemorate Beckett’s most famous works such as Waiting for Godot, Endgame, Krapp’s Last Tape and Happy Days in meaningful and tactile way. An abstract and minimalistic approach for the visual representation is used to mirror Beckett’s artistic way of working, creating an unusual and thought provoking identity for the celebration. The unconventional shapes act as a symbol for the main themes in each play, and the audience are able to use these as a visual reference.
